Discover surfing in Lanzarote with Momo Surf School An authentic experience on a magical island Welcome to Momo Surf School, a local, family-run surf school located on the volcanic island of Lanzarote, in the heart of the Canary Islands. Our mission: to share our passion for the ocean with you in a spectacular natural setting, in complete safety and with a smile on our faces.

Our lessons are suitable for all levels: whether you are a complete beginner, have surfed a few times, or want to improve your technique, our instructors will adapt to your progress and pace. A typical lesson with Momo Surf School 1. Welcome & preparation

We usually meet directly on the beach or at our meeting point. We give you a warm welcome, hand you your equipment (surfboard, wetsuit, lycra), and form small groups according to skill level. 2. Warm-up & safety introduction Before entering the water, we do a fun and dynamic warm-up to prepare the body. Then we go over the essential safety rules: understanding waves and currents, how to use your board safely, rules of priority between surfers, what to do if you fall off. We emphasize a caring and responsible approach to surfing, with respect for the ocean and others.

3. Technical explanation on the sand Before getting into the water, we explain the basics: how to position yourself on the board, how to paddle effectively, how to get through the foam, and the "take-off" movement (standing up on the board). These dry exercises help you better understand the movements you will need to reproduce in the water.

4. Practice in the water It's time to take the plunge! Accompanied by your instructor, you'll enter the waves to put what you've learned into practice. The instructors are at your side to guide you, correct your posture, encourage you, and help you catch your first waves (or go further if you already have some experience).
