Begin in the Omo Valley, where you will visit traditional Aari, Bena, Hamar, Karo, and Daasanach communities and learn about their unique customs and way of life. Continue to the UNESCO-listed Konso Cultural Landscape and the Dorze villages, famous for their distinctive bamboo houses and weaving traditions.
Travel through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Langano and Awash National Park, where you will enjoy scenic landscapes and wildlife viewing. Journey into the Afar region and the Danakil Depression, one of the world's most extraordinary geological destinations. Trek to the active Erta Ale Volcano and witness its lava lake before exploring the colorful geothermal formations, salt terraces, and hot springs of Dallol.
