Arequipa: 2-Day Colca Canyon Tour to Puno with Homestay

Discover the Colca Canyon on a 2-day tour from Arequipa to Puno. Stay overnight with a local family, visit the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint, and enjoy a scenic drive through the Colca Valley.
Day 1: Arequipa – Chivay

Get picked up from your hotel in Arequipa and head towards Chivay, with scenic stops at the National Reserve, Andean viewpoints, and areas where you can observe vicuñas, alpacas, and llamas.

Upon arrival in Chivay, transfer to the village of Coporaque, where you will enjoy lunch in a local family home. Later, take a short walk around the village or participate in activities with the host family. You will also have the option to visit the hot springs.

Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a local family house.

Day 2: Chivay – Colca Canyon – Puno

Have an early breakfast. Then, rejoin the group to continue the itinerary with a visit to the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint, where you can admire the flight of the condors and the impressive Colca Canyon.

On the way back, stop at traditional villages and enjoy free time for lunch. In the afternoon, travel to Puno with scenic stops along the route. Arrive in Puno between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
