Your driver-guide picks you up in the morning at your accommodation in Nice or nearby. If your accommodation is outside the pick-up area, an easily accessible meeting point will be arranged for you in Nice. The schedule is flexible according to your needs, with a recommended departure between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM to fully enjoy this private day.
Climb aboard a comfortable and luxurious 4x4 vehicle, fully private for your group of 1 to 3 people. From Nice, head for the heights of the Riviera, passing by the landscapes of Villefranche-sur-Mer, then the village of Eze and La Turbie. Depending on your preferences and the time available, take a break to discover the medieval village of Eze, visit the Fragonard perfumery, or admire the spectacular view of Monaco and the Mediterranean.
The route continues along the winding roads of the hinterland, including the famous Col de la Madone de Gorbio, to Saint-Agnès. Perched above the sea, this medieval village, classified as one of the "Plus Beaux Villages de France" ("The Most Beautiful Villages of France"), is considered to be the highest coastal village in Europe. You can take the time to wander through its narrow streets, discover its heritage, and enjoy its panoramas between the sea and the mountains.
A lunch break can be organized at a restaurant in Saint-Agnès. The meal is not included in the price of the day trip and is at your expense, but your driver-guide will wait during this gastronomic break.
After Saint-Agnès, leave the tourist roads for an off-road section along forest tracks that are open to traffic. Drive through wild landscapes to reach the passes of the hinterland before descending towards Sospel. Depending on the opening hours, the season, the weather, and your preferences, the day may continue towards the Col de Turini and the Massif de l'Authion, at an altitude of over 2,000 meters, in the heart of the Mercantour National Park.
Throughout the journey, your driver-guide adapts the experience to your interests. A hiking tour may be offered depending on your level, your fitness, and the time available. It will also be possible, depending on the opening hours and the route chosen, to visit a fort or a cheese factory and buy local cheeses and products directly.
Keep your eyes peeled during the journey: deer, chamois, roe deer, birds of prey, and other wild animals can be seen in their natural environment. Between September and October, the day trip can also be focused on observing and listening to the deer's rutting call. However, since the wildlife remains completely free, sightings cannot be guaranteed.
At the end of the day, return to Nice via the most suitable route, with a drop-off generally scheduled between 3 pm and 5 pm. The order of the stages may be modified depending on the traffic, weather, condition of the trails, seasonal openings, and your preferences.
