Meet your host at the Statue of Charlemagne on Île de la Cité, in front of Notre-Dame Cathedral
Tours do not take place during Mass or religious ceremonies
Respect areas reserved for prayer and silence
Modest dress is required (no tank tops, short shorts, etc.). Entry may be denied by cathedral staff for inappropriate attire. In such cases, no refunds will be issued
Speaking or standing in front of the Crown of Thorns reliquary is not allowed. Do not enter the choir or chapels marked as reserved. Please keep quiet & move along respectfully
All visitors must pass through a security check. Priority access is not available
There are no restrooms inside the Cathedral; public toilets are located on rue d’Arcole
Your digital audio guide is provided via a separate app and is not connected to Notre-Dame’s official audio guide system
