We have hundreds of villages in Provence, they have all their own atmosphere and style. They are all beautiful. Unfortunately, the most known are very crowded during the high season and you can’t find local people there.

During this day, I want you to discover the authentic Provance, I want you to feel the history of old rocks, to cross an old man having his Pastis at 11 am, a lady going for her baguette, children coming back from school..local people chilling outside. I want you to feel how it is living here. But we will start this day by a real come back to the past.

After the death of Jesus, Mary Magdalene moved to Provence and spent her last 33 years in the grotto in the Sainte Baume massif. The place is very inspiring.

To totally immerse in this spiritual atmosphere I propose you to hike there by your own and take your time for a better intimate experience (45 min trail). Of course, if you prefer, I can accompany you.

Than we'll reach Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume, a small coloured Provencal town: free time for shopping, lunch and visit of Mary Magdalene basilica where her skull is preserved.

We'll finish the day by the beautiful Sainte Victoire massif where you'll have a nice walk in a little hilltop village or through the wines fields.
