Our "Grand Werdersee Tour" takes you around the island and along both sides of the Weser river promenade, as well as to the Schlachte. We cross the river several times, making for a very varied tour...
What can you expect from this attraction? We start with a short theoretical introduction to riding a Segway, including the "dos" and "don'ts." Then we practice everything—completed a training session accompanied by our guides, so to speak—on a small square in Bremen's Neustadt district. Once all participants can ride and brake safely, the tour begins.
This is a fun tour, which means that our guides can tell you a little bit about the sights along the itinerary, but it is deliberately NOT a city tour! (However, we do offer city tours: You can find them here at GetYourGuide...)

The focus of this tour is on getting to know the unique steering concept of the Segways on beautiful paths, mostly away from traffic. A Segway is moved almost exclusively by shifting your body weight; there is no "gas pedal" or "brake lever" – something completely different from a moped or bicycle, which makes it exciting.

We cruise relaxed through the countryside and master the odd little "difficulty," such as driving up bridges and narrow footpaths ;-) We make a few short stops to rest our feet anyway – at the request of the participants and if time permits, we can take a break in a beer garden or ice cream parlor.
The rule is: our guide is donating his free time and is invited to join in :-) Depending on the number of participants, we will accompany you with one or more experienced and attentive tour guides who will guide your group safely through the city...

  • Included are: Transport of the Segways to/from the start/finish. Rental helmets on request (however, there is no legal requirement to wear a helmet, and you are welcome to bring your own). All necessary tour guides (depending on the number of participants in your group and the tour duration, one experienced and attentive guide for approx. 5 to 7 guests). Liability insurance without excess.

  • Optional: Comprehensive insurance with a $250 deductible for an additional $5 per participant. Ferry crossing with the Sielwall ferry for $2.50 per participant (only available if the ferry is running and you want to cross).
