Your adventure begins with hotel pickup, setting off toward Sfendili Village, a hauntingly beautiful settlement partially submerged in the Aposelemis Dam. Stroll along the reservoir and capture stunning views of this unique site.
Driving through Embasa Gorge, we pass the historic Monastery of Panagia Kera Kardiotissa before reaching the Lasithi Plateau, where iconic white windmills stand against the rugged landscape. Our journey continues to the legendary Diktaion Andron (Cave of Zeus), the mythical birthplace of Zeus. Hike to its entrance and explore ancient chambers adorned with impressive stalactites and stalagmites, where Minoans once made offerings.
We then traverse the vast Lasithi Plateau before venturing off-road to the remote Katharo Plateau at 1,150 meters altitude. Here, untouched landscapes, free-roaming Cretan goats, and wild apple orchards offer a glimpse of Crete’s unspoiled nature.
Our final sightseeing stop is Krasi Village, home to a 2,400-year-old plane tree and the Megali Vrisi fountain. To complete the experience, we enjoy a traditional Cretan meal in a nearby village before returning to your hotel with unforgettable memories of Crete’s hidden gems.

The Cave of Zeus entrance fee is not included. Ticket prices are: EU citizens general (6€), students (free), over 65 years old (3€); Non-EU citizens general (6€), students (3€), over 65 years old (3€).
If the Cave of Zeus is closed for maintenance or other reasons, we’ll inform you promptly. You can enjoy nearby cafés or take part in alternative activities suggested by the driver.
