Plate Smashing & Dancing Opa Greek Night in the heart of Oia

Experience a lively Greek night in the heart of Oia with a dance show, the famous plate-smashing tradition, interactive 'opa' moments, and a full traditional dinner with Greek recipes and house wine.
Experience an unforgettable Greek night in Oia with an evening of authentic flavors, live music, and tradition you can truly take part in. Your night begins at Besalou Restaurant, one of Oia’s most loved dining spots, known for its warm local atmosphere and traditional Greek cooking.
You’ll be welcomed to your private table for two, where the evening starts the way it should in Greece: slowly, generously, and with plenty to share. Your dinner is designed to showcase Greek culinary heritage with tapas-style local dishes and classic recipes, paired with house wine to complete the experience. It’s not just a meal—it’s a taste of the island’s hospitality.
As the night builds, the restaurant transforms into a celebration. Feel the rhythm of Greece with a live Greek night performance featuring traditional dancers and beloved local dances. This is not a “sit back and watch” show—guests are invited to stand up, learn a few steps, and join the circle. Expect spontaneous “opa” moments, laughter, and the kind of energy you only get when locals and travelers celebrate together.
The highlight of the evening is a powerful zeibekiko dance performed in a dramatic fire circle—a moment that’s both intense and unforgettable. And just when you think the night can’t get any bigger, it ends the most Greek way possible: with a high-energy plate-smashing finale that brings the whole room together.
If you’re looking for a night in Oia that feels authentic, social, and full of life—this is it.
