This three to four hour hike to Tamarind Falls is one of the most popular excursions on the island, as it is quite easy and fun for everyone. The walk can be done by someone with little or no previous walking experience under the guidance of an experienced guide.
Throughout your walk you will experience a wonderful connection with nature giving you an incredible opportunity to disconnect, and break away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
As you weave between the forest and basalt rocks near the water you will be overcome by the peace and quiet while revelling from the view of the lush green canyon and the 40-meter waterfall, which you can walk behind. Passing behind this spectacular waterfall is a wonderful experience, in which you can see the rays of sunlight beaming through the waterfall. The large basin at the foot of the waterfall is an ideal place to splash around and cool off and offers a natural foot massage from the cascading water.
The discovery of each waterfall gives you the opportunity to enjoy unique landscapes and scenarios due to its height and water flow. It is important to have an experienced guide by your side to ensure your safety and guide you through the best routes available.
