Be one of the limited people allowed to access the Jomblang Cave per day on this exclusive guided tour from Yogyakarta. Feel the thrill of being lowered into the cave in a harness and descend underground. Take in the rays of sun coming from above on this unique cave exploration.
Start off with a 1.5-hour trip from Yogyakarta to reach the Jomblang cave. Be lowered inside a well-like formation manually by 4-5 people holding the harness to the rope. Feel yourself in safe hands with another two people waiting to get you out of the harness when you reach the bottom.
Once inside, start walking along the muddy rock trail to reach the cave. Take in the view of the sunshine pouring into the dark cavernous space from above, illuminating the plants that thrive in the moist environment.
Observe life inside Jomblang & Grubuk Caves that you may not have seen before. After taking pictures and observing the various beauties inside the cave, you will be invited back upstairs to enjoy a traditional lunch with the other guests.
