1. Besakih Temple Route – Highest Peak (3,142m) – Western Route
This route offers breathtaking views of lush forests and greenery. The trek starts from Taman Edelweiss, near Besakih Temple (Bali’s largest temple). Before the climb, you can enjoy the Edelweiss Garden and the temple’s stunning scenery.
• Duration: ~6 hours ascent, ~5 hours descent
• Starting Time: 23:00
• Sunrise at the Summit: 5:30
• Total Trekking Time: ~11 hours
2. Pasar Agung Temple Route – Highest Peak (3,142m) – Southern Route
A popular choice among tourists, this route features beautiful rocky cliffs and an amazing sunrise view. The trek starts at Pasar Agung Temple, Bali’s second-largest temple. From the entrance, you can see the majestic temple gates with Mount Agung’s stunning backdrop.
