This shared cultural tour is designed to give you a complete Yogyakarta experience in one day, combining ancient temples, breathtaking sunset views, and traditional performing arts. Your journey begins in the morning with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Yogyakarta by a professional driver.

The first destination is Borobudur Temple, the largest Buddhist monument in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will explore the temple complex and surrounding grounds while learning about its history, symbolism, and stunning stone reliefs.

After finishing the Borobudur visit, the tour continues toward Yogyakarta with a stop at the iconic Prambanan Temple in the late afternoon. As the sun begins to set, the towering Hindu temples create a dramatic and unforgettable atmosphere. You will have time to walk around the complex, take photos, and enjoy the golden-hour views that make Prambanan one of the most photographed landmarks in Indonesia. On Mondays, climbing up the temple structure is not permitted, but visitors can still enjoy the temple area, lower levels, and scenic viewpoints around.

In the evening, you will attend the famous Ramayana Ballet, a traditional Javanese dance performance that tells the epic story of Rama and Shinta through graceful movements, expressive storytelling, elaborate costumes, and live gamelan music. The performance location depends on the day of your visit.

The Ramayana Ballet at Purawisata, located in Yogyakarta city, is performed indoors on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The Ramayana Ballet at Prambanan takes place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. At Prambanan, performances are held outdoors from May to October and indoors from November to April.
All shows start at 19:30 WIB.
