For the audioguide app, we recommend using a smartphone from 2020 or later with a fully charged battery. Please note that we do not provide headphones, so we suggest bringing your own for the best experience.
A moderate amount of walking is involved.
This tour is not wheelchair accessible due to the terrain conditions of the Palatine Hill and the Roman Forums.
You must have a valid photo ID to enter in the Museums (ID, Driver's License, Passport or State ID all work.) You will also be asked to provide your name, last name, and date of birth (at the beginning of the tour, if not provided beforehand). Security will prevent you from entering the site if the information provided is not accurate and/or doesn't match the information on your ID.
Forbidden objects inside the Roman Forum: bottles and glass containers, alcoholic beverages and aerosols, backpacks, camping, bulky bags and luggage/trolley, knives, and selfie sticks.
Meet our staff at our Travel Agency at Via Labicana, 96 (300 meters from the Colosseum entrance). Our staff will provide you with the Colosseum/Palatine Hill/Roman Forum and San Clemente Excavation tickets, as well as the QR code to download the audioguide app on your SmartPhone.
