Departure point can be from your accommodation in Tokyo or from a central meeting point defined in advance.
The tour generally lasts from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., but can be adjusted to suit your pace.
If you don't have any specific ideas, here's an example of an itinerary much appreciated by my travelers:
Asakusa, to discover Tokyo's oldest temple, Senso-ji, and its traditional shopping streets.
Ueno, with its lively Ameyoko market, magnificent parks and historic temples.
Yanaka Ginza, a preserved district with period charm, where you'll see a peaceful Japanese cemetery, Edo-era houses still standing, and the splendid Nezu Jinja shrine.
And finally, Akihabara, the emblematic district of electronics, video games and Japanese pop culture.
Each moment is accompanied by historical anecdotes, local encounters and stops in unusual places. Nothing is set in stone: the tour is entirely personalized to your wishes, needs and curiosity.
️ As an option, for those who wish to extend the experience into the evening, I offer dinner in a small, confidential Japanese restaurant seating just 8. Here, the chef serves a unique menu, prepared according to your preferences (and allergies if required), in a warm atmosphere where exchanges with Japanese customers are facilitated - a real moment of sharing!
This dinner is a bonus on request, at an extra cost (to be communicated at the time of booking) at the end of the day (9-10 p.m.).
End of tour: at the location of your choice (train station, hotel, restaurant, etc.), or I can advise you on how to spend the rest of your day.
