A Winter Fairytale Experience: The Penguin Walk
When the snow cover deepens, Asahiyama Zoo holds its 'Penguin Parade' during the winter, allowing visitors to observe the penguins' natural movements up close.
Please note that the start date for the snowfall varies each year, so the specific timing of the Penguin Walk may change. Furthermore, the event is subject to the penguins' physical condition and may not be viewable during every visit.In previous years, the activity has typically been held from late December to mid-March, and it only takes place when there is sufficient snow cover.
Located in Bibai City, in the central part of Hokkaido, 'Bibai Snow Land' is a winter paradise where pristine white snowscapes interweave with magnificent nature.
In this silvery-white world, everyone from adults to children can participate in a variety of activities and recapture their childlike spirit.
