Dress Code: The temples are sacred religious sites. Visitors must show respect by dressing modestly. This means covering your shoulders and knees (for both men and women). Lightweight trousers, skirts, or shawls are recommended, especially for entering the upper level of Angkor Wat.
Weather and Comfort: It is generally hot and humid year-round. Wear light, breathable clothing, use sunscreen, wear a hat, and bring sunglasses. Comfortable walking shoes are a must, as you will be climbing stairs and walking over uneven stone surfaces.
