Kisumu: Kakamega Forest guided day tour

On the Kakamega Forest Day Tour, we visit the best birding site or location in Western Kenya. Kakamega Forest is indeed a world-class birdwatching destination and one of the best birding sites in the entire Africa.
This forest is one of the Easternmost Guineo-Congolian Equatorial Forests, which span from the Congo River basin, through Central Africa to Western Kenya. This unique birding biome is full of special birds species that can only be found here.
We shall spend the day walking on forest trails and along major roads. This forest has some easy birding and new species will be easy to find all day. We shall also visit some local wetlands and grasslands where we shall seek more species.
