Day 1: Nairobi/Mombasa → Amboseli National Park
Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel or the airport in Nairobi or Mombasa. Drive to Amboseli National Park, home to Africa’s largest elephants and stunning views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge.
In the afternoon, embark on a game drive across the Amboseli plains. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your selected lodge, with options ranging from budget to luxury.
Day 2: Amboseli → Taita Hills Salt Lick Sanctuary
Start your day with an early morning game drive in Amboseli for sunrise and last wildlife sightings. Depart for Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary and arrive for lunch at Taita Hills Lodge. Then, transfer to Salt Lick Safari Lodge.
In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in the conservancy. Spend the night at Salt Lick Safari Lodge, where you can watch wildlife from the stilted rooms overlooking waterholes.
Day 3: Full Day – Taita Hills Salt Lick Sanctuary
Begin with an early morning game drive in the sanctuary. Relax at the lodge’s viewing decks as animals visit the waterhole. Choose from optional activities like nature walks, night photography, or a WWI historical tour (extra cost).
In the afternoon, go on another game drive before returning for dinner. Look out for elephants, lions, buffalo, antelopes, and rare birds.
Day 4: Taita Hills → Tsavo East National Park
After an early breakfast, depart for Tsavo East via Voi Gate. Enjoy an en-route game drive to your lodge. In the afternoon, explore the vast savannah for Tsavo’s red elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, and more.
Spend the night at your selected lodge, with options ranging from budget to luxury.
Day 5: Tsavo East → Nairobi or Mombasa
Start with an early morning game drive in Tsavo East. Return for breakfast, check out, and drive back to Nairobi or Mombasa. Drop off at your hotel, airport, or residence.
