Your journey begins with the meeting at the first pier next to Fort San Sebastian de Pastelillo, right on the pedestrian promenade of Manga, in front of the emblematic Punta Madero building. It is recommended to arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled departure to ensure a punctual start of the adventure.
Around 10:00 a.m., you will receive a basic preparation and instructions from our expert kayaking guides, who will provide you with all the necessary information for a safe and pleasant navigation. From this point, you will begin your journey, paddling through the calm waters of the bay of Cartagena.
You will sail through the bay of Las Animas, where you will enjoy impressive views of the Clock Tower, the Pegasus Pier and the Convention Center. This tour is not only visually stunning, but also connects you to the historical essence of Cartagena.
You will continue to the emblematic Roman Bridge, a stone bridge that serves as a link between the walled city and the mainland. Next, you will enter the beautiful San Lazaro Lagoon, an oasis of tranquility surrounded by lush vegetation and wildlife. Here, the mangroves will envelop you in their serenity, while the melodious song of birds accompanies you on every paddle.
Your adventure will culminate at Isla de los Pájaros, where you will be able to observe a variety of birds that inhabit this mangrove island. The natural environment will allow you to appreciate the biodiversity that surrounds Cartagena, making this experience a delight for the senses.
Finally, you will return to the departure pier, feeling the sea breeze and enjoying the panoramic views of this fascinating coastal city. If you need transportation to and from your hotel, be sure to inform us at the time of booking so that it can be included in the final price.
