TOUR TO THE ISLANDS OF EL ROSARIO AND SNORKELING PRACTICE
This adventure is perfect for beginners and experienced snorkelers alike, ensuring an exciting day in the Colombian Caribbean Sea. Join us for a memorable exploration of the breathtaking aquatic beauty of our islands.
We will start our tour at 8:00 am after picking you up at the door of your hotel or at our meeting point in Cartagena de Indias, from there we will head out in air-conditioned transportation to the Baru Peninsula.
On the way we will take a panoramic tour of Cartagena de Indias, admiring the scenery of the great bay of the city. We will visit the different neighborhoods along the coast including Mamonal where the most important petrochemical industries of Colombia are located.
After crossing a bridge inaugurated in 2014, we will reach Baru Island. This peninsula is separated from the rest of the region by a wide canal built in the sixteenth century, so the locals have always considered it an island.
Once we reach the island we will take a boat and enter the open sea enjoying the grandeur and majesty of the Caribbean Sea while we take a panoramic tour of the islands of the rosary.
We will stop for 30 minutes in one of the islands to practice snorkeling, don't worry about the masks, we will put them on.
Then we will return to Playa Blanca to enjoy a delicious typical Cartagena lunch of coconut rice, patacones, salad and fried fish in a local restaurant and then you can relax by the sea or explore Playa Blanca to enjoy a sunny day at the beach, you can lie on the golden sand and stroll along the sea.
Finally, we will conclude this 7-hour excursion by returning to the starting point in Cartagena.

You should wear shorts (beach shorts) or swimsuit, because in Baru there is no dock so when you get on the boat you will have to enter the sea up to half of your body.
