Our adventure starts right from your accommodation. Our trip takes us to La Malinche National Park in Tlaxcala. During the ride watch the beautiful landscape changing in the outside – mountains, forests, plains, and majestic volcanoes.
Now, the volcano calls! A 6-km hike to the top awaits, wrapped in nature. This is the place where climbers prep for Mexico’s highest peaks. But it’s a weekend wonderland too with families, bikers, and runners! The trail’s a friendly guide, no special gear is needed.
Right after we say hello to Tlaxcala! A quiet capital ready to explore its soul. First stop – the Basilica of Our Lady of Ocotlan, a baroque beauty from the past. In Tlaxcala, history and art dance in the streets. Admire squares, churches, and markets – vibrant and alive.
Also, don’t miss the 16th-century Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption. Its Mudejar-style interior is the last of its kind in the Americas. And there’s the Regional Museum, a time capsule of art and artifacts you must visit.
