Kathmandu: Panch Pokhari & Tangu Village Trek – 5 Days

Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Chhimdi & Trek to Deurali
Drive Duration: 5–6 hours (local bus)
Trek Duration: 4–5 hours

Our guide pick you up with your name card from your hotel and early morning departure from Kathmandu by local bus. The drive passes through scenic hills, terraced fields, and traditional villages before reaching Chhimdi.

After a short break, begin your trek through forested trails and rural landscapes. The route gradually ascends, offering peaceful surroundings and glimpses of local life.

Arrive at Deurali, a quiet ridge area, where you will spend the night.

Day 2: Trek from Deurali to Nosyampati
Trek Duration: 5–6 hours
Max Altitude: ~3,700 m
Accommodation: Teahouse

After breakfast, continue trekking through dense rhododendron and pine forests. As you gain altitude, the vegetation becomes thinner and the views open up.

The trail is tranquil and less crowded, making it ideal for those seeking solitude in nature.

Reach Nosyampati, a high-altitude pasture area with basic lodges, and stay overnight.

Day 3: Trek to Panch Pokhari
Trek Duration: 4–5 hours
Max Altitude: ~4,100 m
Accommodation: Basic lodge / camp

Today is the highlight of the trek. The trail climbs steadily to the sacred Panch Pokhari, a group of five holy alpine lakes.

Upon arrival, enjoy spectacular mountain views, including the Jugal Himalayan range. The site is important for both Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims.

Spend time exploring the lakes and enjoying the peaceful high-altitude environment. Overnight stay near the lakes.

Day 4: Trek to Tangu Village
Trek Duration: 5–6 hours
Max Altitude: ~3,000 m (descending)
Accommodation: Homestay

Wake up early for sunrise views, then begin your descent toward Tangu Village.

The trail passes through alpine meadows, forests, and small settlements. As you descend, the landscape becomes greener and more vibrant.

Arrive at Tangu Village, where you will experience authentic local culture and warm hospitality in a homestay.

Day 5: Trek to Chhimdi & Drive back to Kathmandu
Trek Duration: 4–5 hours
Drive Duration: 5–6 hours
End of Tour

After breakfast, trek back to Chhimdi following the same scenic route.

Upon arrival, take a local bus back to Kathmandu, marking the end of your trek.
