Fly over rainforest-covered valleys and spectacular alpine lakes as you experience this world-famous region from the sky. Land in Milford Sound and see its towering cliffs and iconic Mitre Peak up close from the water during a scenic boat cruise.
Upon arrival in Milford Sound, you’ll join one of our trusted cruise partners. During the cruise, you’ll pass the Hanging Gardens, Fairy Falls, and Stirling Falls. If you're lucky, you may also spot local wildlife—New Zealand fur seals, dolphins, and in spring or early summer, the rare Fiordland crested penguin.
On the return journey by helicopter, enjoy a scenic landing in the exclusive Earnslaw Burn valley. Often called one of New Zealand’s hidden gems, Earnslaw Burn features a glacier-fed river, native alpine plants, wildlife, and countless waterfalls. The highlight is the impressive Earnslaw Glacier, which hangs dramatically over 300 metres (1,000 feet) above the valley floor.
