Embark on a snowmobile adventure in Finnish Lapland on a full-day tour from Tromsø. Ride through the Arctic wilderness, enjoy a warm lunch, and take home professional photos of your experience.
Begin your Arctic adventure with an early morning departure from Tromsø and travel across the spectacular landscapes of northern Norway into Finnish Lapland. After around 2 hours on the road, arrive in Kilpisjärvi, a remote Arctic village surrounded by forests, frozen lakes and expansive wilderness.
Once in Kilpisjärvi, you will be equipped with warm winter clothing and snowmobile gear before your guide gives you a thorough safety briefing. Then it is time to head into the wilderness and experience Finnish Lapland by snowmobile.
Your route is chosen according to the weather, as well as the experience level of the group. When conditions allow, you may travel towards the famous Three-Country Border, where Finland, Sweden and Norway meet. At other times, your guide will take you along another scenic route through the surrounding wilderness, crossing frozen lakes and winding through snow-covered forests.
This experience is about enjoying the Arctic landscape rather than travelling at high speed. Follow your guide at a comfortable pace and make regular stops to take in the surroundings and capture photographs. If you are sharing a snowmobile, you will have opportunities to switch drivers during the excursion.
During the day, enjoy a warm lunch before continuing your journey through the Finnish wilderness. Professional photographs will be taken throughout the experience, giving you high-resolution images to take home and remember your day in Finnish Lapland.
After the snowmobile adventure, return to Tromsø by bus, arriving back in the city after a full day exploring the Arctic wilderness.

Drivers must be at least 18 years old.
Passengers must be at least 8 years old and 140 cm tall.
The route and duration may vary depending on weather, snow, and ice conditions.
If you are travelling alone, you must book a single snowmobile. Snowmobiles cannot be shared with another guest you do not know.
Safety always comes first, and the guide may modify or cancel the snowmobile activity if conditions are not suitable.
