Full day boat trip to Reinøy Island and Finnkroken Village on board the 107-year-old Hermes II. Enjoy a warm fishcake and hot drinks as you explore the island and learn about its history.
Set aside time for a rich experience in the old trading village Finnkroken - Coastal history at it`s best. Operates on exclusive dates only!
We start out from Tromsø with a two hours sailing in beautiful winter scenery. On the way you may explore the old boat, visit the captain in the wheel house, learn about Hermes II’s exiting history from our guide or just relax, enjoy yourself and take in the wievs.
Local hosts guide you through the village and invite you to visit The Armauer House from 1802, the church, the museum, the Einar Berger (local painter) exhibition and much more. We recommend you to join the tour – it’s very interesting.
Service on board: Hot fish-cake for «breakfast» and hot drinks are included. Cold drinks for sale the whole trip and you may order a hot meal for the return back to Tromsø. Hermes II is a registered serving establishment with a fully licensed bar.

Christmas spirit & super-cozy Christmas Market in Finnkroken
Our popular Advent adventure gives you the feeling of travelling back in time. And in a way we really do. Hermes II, the beautiful wooden vessel from 1917, is the perfect match for Finnkroken, a registered trading post for over 200 years, and the Reinøy island that has been inhabited for almost 10,000 years.
When we arrive in Finnkroken the Christmas Market is open with local handcrafted products, local food and much more for sale. The cozy quay-café oozes Christmas and tempts you with hot drinks and different treats. And don’t miss the chance to have a nice rendez-vous with the talkative locals. They love visitors!
This trip is ideal for those who love the vibes of Christmas spirit, a touch of the good old times with a traditional Christmas Market and are curious about life in earlier times.
