Aurora Sightings Not Guaranteed: The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, so sightings are not guaranteed. We’ll take you to areas with the best chances of seeing them, but weather conditions and solar activity affect visibility
Weather & Clothing: Expect cold Arctic conditions. Dress warmly in layers, with gloves, hats, and insulated footwear. Thermal suits will be provided
Health & Safety: Some walking on uneven terrain may be required. Ensure you're fit for travel in cold conditions
Duration & Flexibility: The tour lasts about 7/4 hours. We may extend the time if necessary for aurora sightings
Tour Behavior: Respect the Arctic environment, follow guide instructions, and no smoking or alcohol on the bus
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance for a full refund. No refunds if Northern Lights are not visible
Accessibility: The bus is not equipped for wheelchair access. If you have mobility concerns, please contact us before booking
From the 10th of September 2025, the tour departs from our office, which is located on the main pier of Fr.Nansen Plass 1B, right next to the bridge. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before departure. You can easily find our office by looking for the large yellow house/buidling on the pier. Your guide will be wearing a black jacket with the Polar Adventure logo clearly visible. There is parking available at the meeting point.
