Program Description

Pick-up: 13:00hrs from hotels in Salalah or Taqah
Drive towards Nejd Mountain with a stop at Wadi Dawkah to learn about the history of frankincense. Continue through the Bedouin village of Thumrait and date farms to Shisr, the gateway to the desert, with a short stop near the legendary city of Ubar.
Visit a Black Camel Farm to see rare desert camels and taste fresh camel milk. Then relax at a Bedouin desert camp with quad bike riding, desert games, and traditional Omani tea, coffee, and refreshments.
Enjoy an exciting 4x4 dune drive and dune bashing to the high dunes, where you will watch a stunning desert sunset and stargaze before returning to Salalah before dinner.
