Experience a full-day trek through the Cordillera Blanca to Laguna 69, one of the most memorable mountain destinations in Huascarán National Park. This is more than a visit to a turquoise lake: the journey itself is part of the adventure, with your guide accompanying you throughout the trek and helping you enjoy every stage of the route.

Your day begins early in Huaraz, at around 5:00 AM. As we leave the city and travel through the northern Callejón de Huaylas, your guide will welcome you, explain the day’s plan, and share information about the landscapes along the way.

At around 7:00 AM, we will stop for breakfast. This is a chance to rest, prepare for the hike, and receive some useful recommendations before continuing toward Huascarán National Park.

We will then pass through the Llanganuco area, where you can admire its striking turquoise waters surrounded by the mountains of the Cordillera Blanca. Take some time to enjoy the scenery and capture photographs before continuing to Cebollapampa.

At Cebollapampa, the main adventure begins. From here, you will start the trek to Laguna 69, covering approximately 6 km each way. The hike takes around 3 hours uphill and another 3 hours back, depending on the group’s pace.

The trek is the heart of the experience. As you gain altitude, the landscape gradually changes and the surrounding mountains become more impressive. Along the way, there will be opportunities to stop, rest, hydrate, take photographs, and enjoy the scenery.

Your guide will stay with the group, sharing information about the surroundings, interacting with travelers, and helping maintain a comfortable pace. Breaks can be taken when needed, especially during the more demanding sections of the route. Your guide can also help you take photographs at scenic points along the way.

The trek requires physical effort because of the distance and high altitude, but every step is part of the adventure. After several hours of walking, the effort reaches its reward when Laguna 69 finally comes into view.

Surrounded by towering mountains, the lake’s intense turquoise waters create an unforgettable mountain setting. Take time to rest, admire the scenery, enjoy the moment, and capture photographs before beginning the descent.

We will return along the same trail to Cebollapampa, where our transportation will be waiting. From there, we will travel back to Huaraz, arriving at approximately 7:30 PM.

The memory of this adventure is not only Laguna 69 itself, but everything you experience along the way: the trail, the mountains, the pauses, the conversations, the physical challenge, and the satisfaction of reaching one of the most spectacular landscapes of the Cordillera Blanca.
