DAY 1: Cajamarca - Celendín - Leymebamba - Mallqui Center Museum - Nuevo Tingo
05:00 hrs. Pick up from lodging and departure to the city of Leymebamba.
08:00 hrs. Arrival to Celendín, transfer to local restaurant, breakfast (at passenger's expense), continuation to Leymebamba.
12:00 hrs. Arrival to Leymebamba, lunch (on behalf of the passenger).
13:00 hrs. Transfer to visit the Mallqui Center Museum that was built for the conservation of the mummies and archaeological materials recovered in the Laguna de los Cóndores in 1997, work done by the Mallqui Center with contributions from the international community, as well as important contributions from the Institute for Bioarchaeology, the Von Hagen family and Discovery Channel. The local community contributed with their work and construction materials. The town of Leymebamba is the owner of the museum and is represented by a Civil Association, the administrative and professional work in the museum is carried out by Centro Mallqui and was inaugurated in June 2000.

DAY 2: Kuelap Fortress - Cajamarca
06:30 hrs. Breakfast.
07:30 hrs. Transfer to the cable car terminal to Kuelap.
08:00 hrs. Transfer by bus from the boarding station to the platform No. 1; transport by cable car from the platform No. 1 to the platform No. 2.

Arrival and visit to the citadel of Kuelap, called The Fortress and built on top of a high mountain, is the most important archaeological site of the Peruvian mountainous jungle, it is presented to the visitor as an impregnable place, surrounded by cliffs and cliffs on three of its four sides, built in an area of beautiful landscapes that combine the heights of the Andes and the Amazon jungle which creates an incomparable spectacle. Kuelap is formed by two gigantic superimposed artificial platforms, on which a city that covers an approximate extension of 450 hectares was built, in general and seen from the air, its shape resembles an elongated bird's wing, with approximate measures of 584 meters long by 120 meters wide; according to some specialists, 25`000,000 cubic meters of material were used in its construction.
