Participants must bring approximately USD 20.00 (or its equivalent in local currency) in cash per person to make this direct payment at the checkpoints during the trip, as it is not included in the base price. Likewise, travelers are strongly advised to have the yellow fever vaccine and active travel insurance with medical coverage for adventure activities.
