Upon arrival at the access point, begin a 3-kilometer hike, where you can observe different species of birds, monkeys, and native Amazonian plants. Upon reaching Lake Sandoval, board a canoe for a tour of its tranquil waters, where you can spot giant otters, caimans, birds, and other species that inhabit the lake's surroundings, while enjoying the beauty and tranquility of this Amazonian ecosystem.

After the canoe trip, enjoy a picnic lunch, then take some time to relax, recharge, and enjoy the stunning natural surroundings. Continue exploring the area around the lake and take advantage of the opportunity to observe Amazonian wildlife. You may spot birds, caimans, monkeys, and, with luck, the famous giant otters in their natural habitat.

After the excursion, begin the return hike along the Amazonian trails. Finally, return to the port to board the boat back to Puerto Maldonado. The tour will end at approximately 5:30 p.m., with the transfer back to the city center.
