On this excursion to Honcopampa, you will see the remains of Wari, the waterfalls of Yurac Yacu and the thermal baths of Chancos, an unforgettable adventure!
Itinerary
9:00 a.m.: We will pick you up at your hotel in Huaraz to start the excursion to Honcopampa, an archaeological complex of the Wari civilization.
After a journey of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, we will arrive at this site in the Cordillera Blanca. There we will explore its vestiges, learning curiosities about their culture and burials, and we will admire the chullpas, funerary towers of prominent personalities.
Then, we will walk to the impressive Yurac Yacu waterfalls, where we will contemplate the spectacular fall of the Aquilpo ravine. After enjoying this paradisiacal spot, we will take a break for lunch on your own.
To finish the excursion, we will go to the Chancos Hot Springs, where you can relax in its medicinal waters. We will spend approximately two hours there, you will come out completely refreshed!
We will return to Huaraz between 17:00 and 18:00.
