Arequipa: Full Day Salinas Lagoon & Mini Volcano Lojen + Breakfast Included

06:00am to 6.40am - We start the pick up from the hotels in the center of the city. Our first visit will be to the Mirador de los Volcanes in the district of Chiguata; which we will reach in an average of 45 minutes; from there we will be able to observe our representative volcanoes and take pictures.

Later we will be arriving to the town of Chiguata and we will visit the main square of Chiguata where the traditional church of Espiritu Santo is located and later we will taste a local breakfast. Then we will continue our way and in a journey of 01 hour approx. we will make a stop in the Alto Simbral (4200 m.a.s.l.) where we will be able to observe plants of the zone like the Queñua, Yareta, Tola, etc. 10:0am approx. Continuing our journey we will arrive to the Salinas Lagoon where we will remain 01 hour approx. we will make different stops for the observation of flamingos, parihuanas, water mirrors (from January to April), sighting of vicuñas, llamas and alpacas (all the year).

In dry season (May to December) we will visit the salt extraction centers where imagination is essential to take spectacular pictures. Then we will go to the Lojen Mini volcano and Lojen Hot Springs to enjoy a relaxing bath.
01:30pm approx. Arrival at the Uzuña dam, where you can go kayaking, boating or fishing. We return to have lunch in a restaurant, and then we will start our way back to the city of Arequipa, arriving at 05:00pm approx.
