Upon arriving at our meeting point, Casa de Avila Hotel & Garden, please head to the front desk and let them know you’re here for the Peruvian Cooking Experience.

After visiting the handwashing area, our friendly staff will guide you to the cooking space, which is set within a beautiful, spacious courtyard where nature and birds will be your companions throughout the activity. The cooking area is located on a terrace specifically prepared to comfortably accommodate all participants, with designated spaces for cooking, preparation, and dining. It’s a safe, well-ventilated area with a continuous view of the courtyard.

Our experienced instructor will welcome you to the activity and provide aprons and hats for everyone. This is a perfect moment to snap some pre-cooking photos!

We’ll start with the initial preparation for the chosen recipes. No need to take notes—you’ll receive a digital copy of the recipes after the class. Get ready to chop, peel, and prepare all the ingredients under the guidance of our instructors.

Each recipe will be prepared step-by-step, with some dishes using frying pans, ovens, or simply mixing ingredients. You’ll be actively involved in each recipe, learning different techniques and receiving clear explanations for any needed substitutions.

Once the dishes are complete, take a moment to plate and garnish them for that perfect photo opportunity—a memorable keepsake of your culinary creation.

Finally, the best part—gather around the table and enjoy the delicious meal you’ve prepared together. Water and refreshing Chicha Morada (a traditional non-alcoholic beverage) will be provided, with additional drinks like beer or wine available for purchase
