From Arequipa|| Excursion to Pillones Waterfalls ||Full Day

Explore this beautiful Pillones waterfall in the middle of the arid desert and around it we will find the fabulous Piedras de Imata forest.
This tour starts with the pick up from your hotel in Arequipa between 6:00 and 6:30 am and we will head towards the Pillones waterfalls, located at 4600 meters above sea level on the way we will make some stops in the villages of Pampa de Arrieros and Patahuasi, so you can have breakfast on your own. At 10:30 we will arrive at the starting point of the hike that will take us about an hour to reach, before reaching the waterfall we will find dozens of rocks that have been shaped by water erosion over time. We will cross these curious formations until we reach the waterfall, it is a difficult access route so we must be careful.

When we get to the falls we will be able to take some incredible pictures, enjoy the warm weather and contemplate the flora and fauna of the place.

Then we will go to our second point which will be the Forest of Stones of Imata, in this place we will be able to observe different geological formations that characterize the place. Then we will go to the town of Imata where you can have lunch on your own.

Finally, this tour ends with the return to the city of Arequipa, we will arrive at 17:00 hours approximately.
