Ausangate Trek 5 days 4 nights

Ausangate is an imposing snow-capped mountain known for its extraordinary beauty and Andean worldview.
Day 1: Cusco - Ocongate - Tinki Community - Upis Our great adventure to the Ausangate Snow-capped Mountain on a 5-day, 4-night hike begins with pick-up at your respective hotel at 5:00 am, once settled in our mobility we will leave the city of Cusco traveling along the southern valley route towards the Ocongate district (3,530 masl). After 3 hours of travel we will be arriving at the town of Tinke (3,770 masl). In this place we will enjoy a delicious breakfast, also here you can visit the market and do some shopping before starting the hike. It is time to start our hike to Upis (4,400 masl), approximately 3 to 5 hours, during the tour we will be able to get our first views of the Ausangate Snow-capped Mountain, likewise we will appreciate some locals carrying out their domestic activities. Day 2: Upis - Arapa Pass - Yanacocha - Pucacocha Lagoon Very early in the morning we will enjoy our delicious breakfast and then continue the hike ascending for approximately two hours until we reach the Arapa Pass (4,850 meters above sea level) along this route we will be very close to the Ausangate Snow-capped Mountain, we will be able to appreciate the beautiful landscape that surrounds it between Flora and fauna. Then we will descend until we find the appropriate place to have lunch, then we will continue walking along a route where we can see wild animals, herds of llamas and alpacas until we reach the Yanacocha lagoon, which is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and incredible landscapes. Day 3: Pukacocha Lagoon - Ausangateqocha - Abra Palomani - Huchuy Phinaya It is our third day and we start with our energies recharged for more adventure, for which we will first enjoy a delicious breakfast prepared by our chef. This day we will start the hike early by ascending for about two hours to the third pass, the Ausangate Pass (4,750 masl), from this point we will get incredible views of the mountains and snow-capped peaks that surround us. We will continue with our descent towards the Palomani Pass which is at 5,200 masl, this is the highest point of our entire journey, then we will descend for another two hours towards the community of Huchuy Phinaya (4,650 masl), during the hike we will see South American camelids such as: llamas, alpacas and wild animals such as the Vizcacha. Day 4: Jampa Pass - Pacchanta We are on our penultimate day! Like every morning we will start the day enjoying our delicious breakfast. We will begin with the approximately two-hour hike until we reach the Jampa Pass (5,070 masl). Day 5: Pacchanta - Tinki Community - Ocongate - Cusco We have reached our last day touring the Ausangate Snow-capped Mountain, the whole adventure is about to end. In the morning we will have breakfast and we will have the option to enjoy the thermal baths.
