Cusco: Full-day excursion to Rainbown Mountain on horseback

The color of Vinicunca is due to a geological formation accumulated over time by the mixture of marine, lacustrine and fluvial elements.
- To start the excursion to the 7 colors mountain we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco (time 4:30 - 5:00 am), then we will go to the village of Cusipata where we will have a buffet breakfast.
- Then we will go to the beginning of the trail where the guide will give you all the instructions to start the hike that lasts 2 hours.
- During the walk we will have the opportunity to appreciate a variety of South American camelids, spectacular ecosystems of the place and beautiful views of the snow-capped Ausangate.
- At approximately 10:30 a.m. we will arrive at our destination called Vinicunca or Rainbow Mountain (5,200 masl / 16,466 ft). Upon arrival you will have enough time to enjoy this unique landscape that formed the geography and you can take spectacular pictures from the viewpoint of the mountain of the 7 colors.
- After taking spectacular pictures at the 7 colors mountain we will return to the starting point, where our transportation will be waiting for us to take us back to the village of Cusipata to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch.
- After lunch we will return to Cusco arriving at approximately 6:30 Pm.
