Discover the Sacred Valley of the Incas on a full-day tour from Cusco. Visit the town of Písac, explore the local market, and see the ruins of Sacsayhuamán, Q'enqo, and Tambomachay.
Start your tour with a pickup from your hotel in Cusco. Head to Písac, where you can walk along the picturesque streets, take in the local artisan stalls, and explore the famous market. Before leaving, take a guided tour of the Písac archaeological park, one of the important sites in the Sacred Valley.
On the way back to Cusco, stop off at the Taray Viewpoint to get some amazing views of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Be amazed by the amount of terraces in the area. Next, take a tour of the ruins around Cusco. Visit Sacsayhuamán, a ceremonial fort of stone monuments.
Then, make your way to Q'enqo, a ritual site where sacrifices once took place. Explore Tambomachay, a temple dedicated to worshipping the God of Water. Lastly, enjoy a panoramic view of Puka-Pukará, an ancient tambo or guard post along the Inca roads.
