We will explore some of the highlights of Cuzco, starting with the city itself, continuing through the mysterious Sacred Valley and culminating in the marvelous Machu Picchu.
Consider that it is necessary to book this tour at least one month in advance or check the availability of entrance tickets to Machu Picchu on the desired date to avoid setbacks.
Machu Picchu, the archaeological jewel of Cusco, is surrounded by breathtaking landscapes that reveal Inca architectural mastery with its terraces, temples and captivating historical mystery.
ITINERARY:
- DAY 1: AIRPORT PICK UP - CUSCO CITY TOUR:
- We will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel upon arrival. At 12:30 pm, we will start our Cusco city tour, visiting emblematic places such as the temple of Qoricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay. We will return to Cusco square at approximately 7:00 pm.
- DAY 2: SACRED VALLEY:
- We will pick you up between 7:00 and 8:00 am to begin our visit to the Sacred Valley. The first stop will be at the archaeological site of Pisac for a guided tour. Then we will head to Urubamba to enjoy a buffet lunch. Afterwards, we will visit Ollantaytambo, where we will explore the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana, the Princess' Baths and the terraces. In the afternoon, you will take the train to Aguas Calientes from Ollantaytambo station on your own, and in the evening your guide will visit you at the hotel to give you directions for the next day's visit.
- DAY 3: MACHU PICCHU:
- Our third day will begin with the meeting with the guide at the previously coordinated time, then the guide will take you to the bus station that will lead us to the Llaqta of Machu Picchu, where we will have a guided tour of approximately 2 hours. In the afternoon, we will return by train to Ollantaytambo and from there we will return to Cusco in our transportation.
- DAY 4: TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT:
- We will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the airport to conclude our 4-day service.
