Enjoy an exciting ATV tour through the sacred valley. Visit two of Maras' most notable attractions, the salt mines and the beautiful Huaypo lagoon.
The Atvs tour in the Maras salt mines and Huaypo lagoon is an ultimate experience that combines the excitement of riding Atvs with the opportunity to enjoy stunning landscapes and learn about local history and culture. Your first visit will be the lagoon where you will enjoy the beauty of the calm waters of the Huaypo lagoon and the surrounding landscapes, a perfect place for the best photographs. You will visit the Maras salt mine, a historical legacy that dates back to Inca times. Discover the ancient process of salt extraction as you immerse yourself in a wonder of evaporation terraces that paint the mountain in shades of brilliant white.

For the tour, pick-up will be at your hotel in Cusco according to the chosen time. Together with the guide and the entire group, you will leave for the community of Cruzpata along the highway (Cusco – Ollanta). The trip will take about 45 minutes to arrive the base. At this point you will have all the equipment and Atvs available, then you will have a training of about (10 -15) minutes to familiarize yourself with the Atvs. Once everyone is ready for the tour, you will begin the tour on the Atvs heading to the Huaypo lagoon. Once you arrive at the Huaypo lagoon, you will have 20 free minutes to explore the place on your own.
Later you will head towards Maras. The trip consists of ups and downs with incredible landscapes. On the tour you will be able to take photos, arriving at the Maras salt mines you will take the guided tour that will be led by one of the professional bilingual guides. Later you will pass through the typical town of Maras, which is characterized by its colonial façades. Finally return to the Cruzpata base. When you arrive here, you will leave all the equipment and ATVs to board the bus that will take you back to the city of Cusco.
