This 2-day train tour is a perfect option to enjoy a pleasant stay, explore the Aguas Calientes town and enjoy an extraordinary tour on your second day in the extraordinary sanctuary of Machu Picchu.
Day 1: Trip from Cusco to Aguas Calientes (Town of Machupicchu):
In the morning we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 09:00 hrs. and we will transport you to the Ollantaytambo train station (approximately 2 hour car trip) to take the train to Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu town). On the train trip you will enjoy extraordinary landscapes, you will also be able to appreciate the flora and fauna of this area of Cusco. Once you arrive at the town of Aguas Calientes, you will have a free afternoon to walk and get to know this small town or perhaps go to the hot springs. At night the guide will visit you to give more information about the tour to Machupicchu.
Overnight in Aguas Calientes (Hotel not included.).

Day 2: Visit the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu - return to Cusco city:
In the morning at the indicated time according to the tour guide, you will go to the bus station and travel for 30 minutes to the Machupicchu Sanctuary. Later you will enter the Inca City of Machupicchu, the tour guide will begin the tour of the main attractions such as: the guardian enclosure, the temple of the sun, the Intiwatana, the temple of the three windows, the sacred plaza, the temple of the condor and others. On the tour you will have some free time to take photographs.
After visiting Machupicchu, you will board the bus that will return to Aguas Calientes. Later, you will have free time to have lunch in the town (not included).
In the afternoon you will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, once there, the transportation will take you back to the city of Cusco (arrival in Cusco at 08:30 p.m. Approx.).
