Discover the magic of Lima on a fascinating walking tour that will take you from the iconic Plaza San Martin to the mysterious Catacombs of the Convent of San Francisco.
Our tour starts in Miraflores, where we will take the most used public bus by the locals, we will cross the city by bus seeing different districts and parts of the city including the national stadium, to go to the historic center of Lima. We will get off at the Plaza San Martin, starting point of our walk, to admire the architecture and colonial buildings that surround this emblematic square. From there, we will walk along the Jiron de la Union, enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the city, until we reach the Plaza Mayor. At this point, we will learn about the history of the Cathedral of Lima, the Government Palace and the Municipal Palace. We will continue to the Convent of Santo Domingo and finish at the Church of San Francisco, where we will visit its famous catacombs. Finally, we will return to Miraflores by bus, culminating a tour full of history and culture. All this with the company of our specialized tour guide.
