From Loreto: Full Day Nanay River - Momón - Amazonas

You will be able to connect with nature while exploring the rivers of the Amazon. You will visit a butterfly farm to learn about their metamorphosis and a serpentarium where you will meet anacondas.
Pick up at the hotel at 9:00 am, transfer from your hotel to the port. We will sail by motorboat along the Nanay River, then we will pass through the Momón River. Then we will continue with the visit to the indigenous community of the Boras, where we will appreciate their dances and you will also be able to buy some handmade crafts. We will continue towards the Nanay River to visit the butterfly farm, here we will learn about the different stages that a butterfly goes through to become an adult. Also on the Amazon River we will visit the serpentarium, here we will meet the famous anacondas, sloths, monkeys and macaws. Finally, we will visit the Pedrito farm, where we will learn about fish such as paiches, lizards and piranhas, as well as learn about the largest aquatic plants in the world, the victorias reales. Finally, to say goodbye to this excursion, we will observe the dolphins swimming at the mouth of the Nanay and Amazon rivers. Return to Iquitos, arrival time 17:30.
