Under the gaze of the moon, the night becomes the best time to explore the Amazon, discovering a great variety of amphibians, insects, arachnids and other fascinating species.
We will pick you up from your hotel at 17:00 and head to the most natural part of the city, which is known as ‘the gateway to the Peruvian Amazon rainforest’.
Once there, we will start a night walk, during 3 hours we will explore and discover the exotic vegetation of the Amazon jungle. We will walk along the Tambopata river and pause to listen to the sounds of nature at night.
We will visit the Tambopata ecotourism trail, which will take us to the Tambopata National Reserve, as we go along we will be able to observe species such as snakes and trarantulas and if we are lucky we will see leopards and nocturnal monkeys.
Finally, we will return to the hotel at 20:00 to conclude our tour.
