Monkey Island + Lake Sandoval + Tapir trail hike 3D/2N

Enjoy a unique experience in the jungle of Tambopata, where we will explore the Sandoval Lake and see various animals in their natural habitat.
Day 1: Kayaking - Monkey Island - Night Tour

-Our adventure begins at the meeting point at 9:30 a.m. We will head by boat to our lodge, where we will be greeted with a refreshing local fruit drink and provided with detailed information about the planned activities.
-Afterwards, we will take a walk through the jungle to admire ancient trees and, if we are lucky, spot animals such as monkeys, birds and insects.
-At 1:00 p.m., we will enjoy lunch.
-Afterwards, we will kayak down the Madre de Dios River until we reach Monkey Island, where we can interact with a family of monkeys.
-At sunset, we will venture on a night walk along the river in search of caimans.
-After the activity, we will enjoy dinner and optionally participate in a campfire session, where we will share stories of the jungle.
-Overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Sandoval Lake - Fishing

-We will start early in the morning to explore Sandoval Lake. During the 3-kilometer hike, we will be able to see palm trees rich in minerals and, if we are lucky, we will spot macaws that come to lick them at dawn.
-Arriving at the lake, we will contemplate the local flora and fauna, such as monkeys, turtles, caimans and, if we are lucky, river otters.
-At 12:30 p.m., we will enjoy lunch.
-In the afternoon, we will venture into sport fishing for piranhas, paco, gamitana, palometa and other fish, which will be prepared for our dinner.
-To conclude the day, we will take a night walk, where we will be able to spot reptiles, frogs, toads and enjoy the symphony of the jungle.

Day 3: Tapir Troop Tour

-The day begins with breakfast at 7:30 am. Then we will head for the Tapir trail, an area characterized by its aguaje palm trees.
-This area, humid and rich in biodiversity, will allow us to observe footprints of other animals and have the opportunity to see rodents, toucans and wild pigs.
-At 1:00 pm, we will enjoy lunch.
-After relaxing, we will prepare our belongings for the return trip.
-We will be back in the city around 4:30 pm.
