They will be attended by bilingual local residents, who know the jungle very well and know where we can find animals such as: sloth bears, capybaras, monkeys, caimans, parrots, piranhas.
According to the arrival time of your flight. We organize the pick up from the airport or bus terminal or from a hotel in the city. Our jungle house is located on the banks of the Tambopata River, near the Natural Reserve, it is a rustic jungle house with private rooms and bathrooms that offers genuine jungle experiences, we don't have hot water and we do have wifi (a little slow but wifi in the end).
The first day we took a walk in the jungle, where we talked about trees and uses of the forest and then returned to the river and rode a boat along the shore looking for capybaras, caimans and birds in general. Lunch and dinner are included on the first day.
Second day, we take a long excursion with a 6 km walk through the jungle and in the heart of the reserve towards Lake Sandoval, with the possibility of seeing a diversity of monkeys: howler monkeys, capuchins, squirrel monkeys, a diversity of birds, alligators, anacondas, snakes, river otters. It is an interesting excursion to one of the most popular places in the region. Usually the excursion starts from 10 am to 5 pm, the time and number of hours may vary according to the time of year, the weather or the guide's suggestion.
Before dinner, they can walk around looking for tarantulas, poisonous frogs, and night monkeys. The second day includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Third day at 5.00 am we leave by boat upriver to reach a clay wall that small parrots use to detoxify after eating green fruits, have breakfast and then if there is time you can take a walk in the jungle or kayak in the banks of the river, check out is at 10:30 am and if you have a later flight or are leaving by bus you can stay in the hammock area and have the kayaks at your disposal. On the third day, lunch is not included.
