Kayak along the Madre de Dios river, go deep into the rainforest to visit the Monkey Island.
Itinerary
For this excursion we will start with the pick up from your hotel in Puerto Maldonado at 9:00 am. We will go to the pier in Puerto Maldonado, where we will board the kayaks and navigate for 30 minutes down the Madre de Dios River in search of caimans and turtles.
When we get off the kayaks we will go into the jungle to go to the zip line platforms located in the trees, to feel more adrenaline, we will put on the harness to slide down the nature and we will have the best views of the Peruvian jungle.
Then we will have lunch with rice, chicken and mushrooms in a local restaurant, and after we get our strength back we will go to the Isla Rodante, better known as Monkey Island, where we will meet dozens of cute macaques that were rescued from animal trafficking.
We will finish the Kayak and Monkey Island excursion returning to Puerto Maldonado at approximately 17:20 hours.
