This route will first take you to BAGUIO. Tucked away in the stunning Cordillera Mountains of North Luzon, Baguio City is just a picturesque 4-6 hour drive from Manila, the capital of the Philippines. Here, the lively urban atmosphere harmonizes beautifully with the tranquil natural surroundings. After this, your group will head to SAGADA.
When you arrive in Sagada, you'll settle in and indulge in a delightful pizza night. It's the perfect way to unwind before calling it a day at your accommodation
Next day, begin your adventure with a hike to either Sumaguing Cave, immersing yourself in the stunning natural beauty. Once you've explored the caves, you'll head back to the city for a delightful lunch. After refueling, spend your afternoon at the breathtaking Bomod-Ok Falls.
The following morning, prepare to set off at approximately 4:30 AM to witness the breathtaking sea of clouds at Marlboro Hills, where the striking blue soil adds to the enchanting scenery. Continue the adventure at the Sagada Pottery and Weaving Center, then visit St. Mary's Church, the Old Cemetery, and the famous Hanging Coffins. Your city tour will also lead you past the Abandoned Bus, Sagada Brew, Gaia Cafe, Yogurt House, Lemon Pie House, and Orange Farm, highlighting the best that Sagada has to offer.
On the 4th day, the group will embark on a two-hour journey to Buscalan, with a recommended departure time of 4 AM from Sagada to avoid the long lines at the tattoo studio of Apo Whang-Od. Prepare for a wait, as her popularity draws many eager visitors. Apo Whang-Od, also known as Maria Oggay, is a remarkable 106-year-old mambabatok (traditional tattoo artist) from Buscalan Village. She will celebrate her 107th birthday on February 17, 2024. As the oldest living mambabatok and the only female of her generation, she began her tattooing journey at the age of 16, learning the craft from her father. Over the years, she has tattooed countless individuals, including local warriors, and now welcomes visitors from around the world.

For traditional tattoos, prices typically start at P1000 and can go as high as P2500 (which is about €18 to €30). If you're interested in the renowned 3 dots signature mark from Apo Whang Od, it’s available for only P300 (around €5).
