This walking tour goes into the San Cristobal Castle and cover the most relevant historic and cultural landmarks of Old San Juan. The experience includes water and soda along the way.
On this walking tour you will meet your certified tour guide on Plaza Colon in Old San Juan. After, you will tour the interior of the San Cristobal Castle ($10 value entry ticket included).
This World Heritage Site is the biggest fortification built by Spain in the Americas. Inside of the fortification you will enjoy amazing views of the city of San Juan from above, the Atlantic Ocean and the San Juan Bay. Along the way you will learn about the town’s history and military importance over the last 400 years. This tour requires participants to walk for over 1.5 miles (2.5 km) in hot humid weather.
The walking tour is NOT recommended for people with walking limitations, heart conditions or uncontrolled insulin levels.
Participants on wheelchair are welcome but we high encourage the use of electric wheelchairs.
The tour goes up some steep hills and some areas with no shade.
Please, meet your guide in front of the big statue at the center of Plaza Colon in Old San Juan. The guide will be wearing a blue shirt and red cap.
